Registered For Commercial Use Domestic Use Overview Nufarm Activator Surfactant contains 900 g/L non-ionic surfactant used as a premium non-ionic rainfast wetting agent with low foaming qualities. General Instructions Activator is a low foaming, non-ionic type spreader adjuvant, providing quick wetting, more uniform distribution. Activator increases retention of spray by reducing surface tension of the spray droplets. Activator is a water soluble adjuvant that may also be used as an interfacing agent for wettable powders. Activator assists the uptake of foliar absorbed products. Mixing For wettable powders and water soluble products, add Activator in water before adding the agricultural chemical to spray the tank. For emulsifiable products, and Activator after a good emulsion is formed. Protection of wildlife, fish, crustaceans and environment Harmful to fish. DO NOT contaminate ponds, waterways or ditches with the chemical or used containers Safety Directions Avoid contact with eyes and skin. When using the product, wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist (or equivalent clothing), elbow length PVC/rubber gloves and face shield or goggles. If product on skin, immediately wash area with soap and water. If product in eyes, wash it out immediately with water. Storage KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well ventilated area. Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight. Disposal Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to spray tank. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on site. Break, crush, or puncture and bury empty containers in a local authority landfill. If not available, bury the containers below 500mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, vegetation and roots. Empty containers and products should not be burnt. Refillable containers (1000L only) Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well ventilated area away from children, animals, food, feedstuffs, seed and fertilizers. DO NOT store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight. Empty contents fully into application equipment. Close all valves and return to point of supply for refill or storage.
